Welcome to my website! Guess you’re wondering, What is Patchwork Theory all about?

No person is made up of a single cloth. We are all multifaceted. We are pieces of our whole selves stitched together into something beautiful like a patchwork quilt. We are pieced together perfectly, beautifully broken, tastefully tattered, colorful, dark, vivid and plain. We are patched together to create a blanket of all that is life.

When I started this journey, I knew that I couldn’t limit myself to just one idea. I sing, I write songs, I write books (in all genres), I do poetry and spoken word, I am a motivational speaker, I am an educator, I have a passion for fitness, I have website ideas, I have invention ideas.

I am a mother, I am a Christian (I am a preacher’s kid), I am a friend. I am a hopeless romantic.

I have had my heart broken, I have felt deep disappointment, I have also risen above my circumstances and experienced many triumphs.

I am open.

I am honest.

I am me.

I am… a quilt of many patches and I am not finished yet.

I hope that through sharing all the pieces of myself, by sharing and opening up my own patchwork quilt patterned  life and inviting any one and everyone to cozy up and become comfortable in the warmth of my openness and transparency that I can touch and inspire others to embrace all that makes them too, beautifully stitched together.
